Anligu – Tight Tolerances for Precision-Converting Applications
In precision manufacturing, part tolerances—the allowable variation in a component’s dimensions—are critical to ensuring consistent performance. When tolerances are too loose, it can affect product reliability, fit, or sealing, especially in sensitive applications such as die-cut vents, adhesive gaskets, or electronic assemblies.
At Anligu, we understand how different materials and converting processes influence achievable tolerances. Our experienced engineers work closely with you to define the right balance of performance and manufacturability, delivering consistent, high-precision results tailored to your specific needs.
Standard Tolerances by Process:
Why Tolerance Matters:
A 1mm deviation might be negligible on a 25m roll of tape—but for a 5mm-wide die-cut vent, it could mean seal failure. That’s why we offer tight tolerances across all converting processes, from slitting to die-cutting, ensuring product functionality and fit.
Lathe Slitting:
- Non-foam materials: ±0.25mm
- Foam materials: ±0.5mm
Rewind Slitting:
- All materials: ±0.5mm
Butt Cutting:
- Width: Determined by slitting or original tape width
- Length: ±0.25mm
Guillotinin:
- Up to 100mm: ±0.5mm
- 100–300mm: ±1.0mm
- 300–600mm: ±2.0mm
- 600–900mm: ±3.0mm
- Over 900mm: ±5.0mm
Laser Cutting:
- Materials < 0.25mm: ±0.2mm
- Materials ≥ 0.25mm: ±0.4mm
Die Cutting:
- Materials < 0.25mm: ±0.25mm
- Materials ≥ 0.25mm: ±0.4mm
Rotary Die Cutting:
- Materials < 0.25mm: ±0.3mm
- Materials ≥ 0.25mm: ±0.6mm
Pick & Place:
- Placement accuracy: up to ±0.05mm
