Types of PTFE Conveyor Belts
1. Seamed Belt (Joint Belt)
Made by overlapping or butt-jointing PTFE-coated fiberglass fabric into a loop. There are two common types of joints: diagonal and straight.
•Drawbacks:
•Thicker joint section
•Higher risk of breakage at the seam
•Shorter service life
2. Seamless Belt
Woven from high-strength fiberglass yarn or aramid fiber using circular looms, and then coated with PTFE resin.
•Advantages:
•Uniform circumference
•No tracking issues
•Long service life
• Thickness options:
•~0.38mm (2-ply yarn): smoother surface
•~0.45mm (3-ply yarn): higher tensile strength
•Not recommended for high-precision garment machines
3. Composite Belt
Made by laminating two layers of PTFE fabric in an offset pattern.

•Smooth and delicate surface
•Uniform thickness
•Excellent anti-deviation performance
